A demonstration on our own website, not a client engagement. The tested sample interactions worked. One navigation recommendation would make the detailed offer easier to find. No conversion lift, lost revenue or customer acceptance was measured.

Classification: usability recommendation. Open at the original observation.

The page works, but visitors who inspect the homepage sample do not get a direct route to the new scope and pricing page. We have no evidence that this caused lost sales.

  1. Open https://beardbytelabs.com/.
  2. Follow “Inspect the pilot bench”; confirm the workbench opens.
  3. Inspect the homepage links for a route to /catalog-rescue. Both viewport runs found zero.
  4. Open /catalog-rescue directly; the offer exists and returns HTTP 200.

Add a clearly named link from the workbench introduction to the detailed offer. Retain the working sample and visible inbox. Recheck the exact homepage link after deployment; keep this original observation as history. The expected behavior here is our review criterion, not a previously documented product requirement.

This report preserves the original finding. A later site version may resolve it; a change is not verified until a dated recheck records the outcome.

What this review does not establish

Two public pages only: the homepage and /catalog-rescue. No page overflow or uncaught JavaScript errors were observed in these two runs. A viewport check is not physical-device testing. Safari, other browsers, screen readers, broader accessibility conformance, network stress, authenticated pages, carts, checkout, payments, form submissions and email delivery were not tested. This is not a security review or a guarantee that the site is defect-free.
